This was even better than the last one! I can't wait for the next one!

The only reason I’m not giving this issue a 5 star rating is because I felt like there were a few too many filler pages here (and I’m not talking about the typical comic book ads). I would have loved to see more of the actual plot, because it’s gotten really interesting. That and I have SO many questions. This issue took a surprising turn with the plot. I like it, but I also have about a hundred questions that I really want answered, and it stinks that I have to wait a month to do so. I think they did a great job with the pacing though, so I can’t complain too much about how much (or little) they fit into this issue.

This is really skimping on the story. Most comics would have double the story content in this much space, but this has been filling a tiny bit of story into standard sized issues. The filler details are no longer as clever as they used to be either. Sadly this ran out of steam several issues ago.

This story continues to make less and less sense as time goes on and also continues to make you suspend you're disbelief for even the 'normal' stuff. (view spoiler)[ Like that momma should be dead. (hide spoiler)] At least the cat wig cut outs were kinda cut in a nolstolgic paper dolls kinda way.

This issue ends with a bang and the story finally seems to move forward. Mom and Dad are really well written characters!

A weird, lets-call-it postmodern comic that moves slow but has so many fun things like fake ads and idk tampon rorschach tests??

My (Very Brief) Thoughts On: Man-Eaters #7 1. Maude's mother has now emerged as the character I have the most questions about. (hide spoiler)] Once again, Man-Eaters has me very confused. I almost wish this series wasn't a comic book. I'd read this as a novel series. 2. (view spoiler)[ Are we getting into the revolution part of this series now? Because that's the vibe this issue gives off. Also, even Mrs. Prescott is in on the revolution? That makes sense. (hide spoiler)] 3. I love Chelsea Cain, and I think Man-Eaters is great in concept. However, even in this issue that I thought was better than some others, the writing is confusing and inconsistent. I'm really not sure how any of this is going to be wrapped up into something that makes sense.
